FAQS 1. Why invest in a website?
1. Why invest in a website? So if you don't have a website and you wish to maximise your potential customer base, contact us and we'll be happy to provide you with a comprehensive solution at a competitive price. We can take care of all your requirements, from domain registration to hosting to developing your site and marketing that site. Or if you do already have a website that isn't working for you, we'll be happy to evaluate what you've got and propose ways of improving it either through design, functionality, online marketing or a combination of all three.
2. What's involved in getting a website up and running? There are three main things that need to be done:
We can provide all of the above for you.
We can help with whatever option applies to you and everything in between.
3. How much does a website cost? We can provide a 'Website Starter Package' custom built website including domain registration*, hosting** and up to 10 pages for as little as €750. Contact us for more information. (*Note: Domain names vary in cost. DOT COMS are the cheapest. Other domain extensions .IE, .EU, .CO.UK., .NET, .ORG etc. vary - Quoted price of €750 is based on the cheapest extension being available and covers 1 year registration). (**Note: Basic hosting including up to 10 email addresses will typically cost €150 per annum - Quoted price of €750 covers hosting for 1 year). Or if you've already got your domain name and hosting arranged, we can build you a 10 page website from only €600! Beyond our 'Website Starter Package', costs very much depend on your requirements. Our ultimate commitment is to provide effective, value for money solutions for all of our clients based on those requirements.
4. I'd like a professional email address? If you've got a domain name registered, even if you don't have a website you should be able to have a dedicated email address (eg. info@yourdomain.com) at no additional cost. Most if not all host providers enable those who register with them to set up addresses using the registered domain name which can then be forwarded to existing third party addresses (eircom, hotmail, gmail etc.). Doing this portrays a much more professional image of you and your business. Contact us for information regarding this. In addition many businesses that have a website still use third party email addresses (eircom, hotmail, gmail etc.). This is not best practice. We can assist you in setting up email addresses that reflect the investment you've already made in your website.
5. Twitter, Facebook & You Tube - Should I be using these? If you're selling anything, then you probably should be using some or possibly all of these, although managing them successfully takes time and commitment which you should be aware of. Twitter, Facebook and You Tube can be invaluable tools in complementing your online presence. They are all closely related to what is called 'Web 2.0' which basically means enabling online users to constantly 'interact' with each other as well as you and your business. There are many industries now embracing these Social Networking tools which if implemented correctly can be very beneficial to your business. Contact us for advice on implementing Twitter, Facebook or YouTube effectively.
